For over 20 years, the James Emerson Dennis, Jr. Memorial Black History Political Forum has been held in Brenham. The forums in February draw over 150 participants of all races, gender, and political affiliations. This year’s candidate forum will be moderated by students from the Brenham High School Black History Club.
